After their family’s home in Western Massachusetts was struck by an EF-3 tornado in 2011, sisters Morgan and Caitria O’Neill co-founded Recovers.org in order to distribute technology and best practices to other communities facing disaster.

Today, Recovers.org provides state-of-the-art web platforms to more than 40 communities around the world, enabling on-the-ground matching of donations and volunteers with the survivors who need them most. It has assisted in the recovery of New York after Superstorm Sandy and the relief effort in Moore, Oklahoma, following an EF-5 tornado in 2013.
